How BCI Handles Website and Client Information

Public project-intake and contact forms do not provide a general file upload function.
If supporting documents are reasonably necessary for an accepted engagement, BCI may arrange an appropriate transfer method after the initial scope review.

Confidential Business Information
Nonpublic information provided by a client for the purpose of evaluating, administering, or performing an engagement is treated as confidential business information.
BCI does not use client-provided confidential information for public promotion, marketing materials, case studies, or portfolio samples without appropriate permission.
Public portfolio exercises and sample reports are separately identified as such and should not be interpreted as disclosures of confidential client engagements.
7. Payment Information
Payment Credentials Are Handled by the Payment Provider
When online payments are activated, BCI intends to use a designated third-party payment provider to process payment credentials.
Clients should enter card numbers and related payment credentials only through the designated hosted payment process, not through BCI public inquiry or project-intake forms.
BCI may receive transaction information necessary to identify and administer a payment, such as payment status, amount, transaction reference, and related billing information provided by the payment service.
8. Service Providers
Limited Third-Party Processing
BCI may use third-party service providers to support functions such as website hosting, network security, spam or abuse prevention, email delivery, payment processing, and other business infrastructure.
Those providers may process information when reasonably necessary to perform the services BCI uses them to provide.
BCI does not sell or rent client or website-submission information to advertisers or data brokers.
